Check Compatibility Before Ordering

All of the following conditions must be met. This adapter does not add CarPlay or Android Auto to a vehicle that does not already have the corresponding wired function.

  • Original system: The vehicle must retain its original factory-installed screen. Replaced, modified or aftermarket screens are not supported.
  • Required wired functions: The original vehicle system must already include wired CarPlay and wired Android Auto.
  • Touchscreen and protocol: The original display must be a touchscreen, and its communication protocol must be compatible with this adapter.
  • Match the phone to the vehicle function: An iPhone connects through the vehicle's wired CarPlay function. An Android phone connects through the vehicle's wired Android Auto function.
  • An Android phone cannot connect through the vehicle's CarPlay mode, and an iPhone cannot connect through the vehicle's Android Auto mode.
